Lima is the second-largest capital of world located in a desert and already faces water scarcity. Here, more than 30% population supplied by only 2.2% national resources. The urbanization process has an informal nature occurs at very accelerated rate. These new settlements lack infrastructure access to other services. objectives this study are quantify changes urban landscape Metropolitan Area from 1990 2021 propose water-sensitive plan detecting changes, trends identifying alternative sources. trend suggests future constant increment areas, diversification equally distributed land cover. disconnected complex shapes patches nowadays. also mingled, but cracked. Overall, become disaggregated, demanding small scattered solutions. WSUP includes implementation treatment plants multi-family buildings, hybrid desalination coast parks with fog collectors on hills. Additionally, these solutions will require beneficiary community local authorities work together planning maintenance.
